ILCA members share ... "What ILCA Means to Me"

When ILCA invited members to share ”What ILCA Means to Me”, responses poured in from all over the globe. Here is a selection:

“ILCA is my professional organization. It connects me to my peers and colleagues, is a resource for continuing education, actively works to promote my profession, and provides me with the tools I need to be successful.”
-Katherine Abdun-Nur, RN, IBCLC, Oregon, USA

"Professionals who care about their work have a duty to support their professional organization. Lactation consulting is still a pioneer field, and it is vital that IBCLCs invest in the future by joining ILCA, by lending volunteer support, and by helping to visualize the direction of the profession. It's like voting: if you don't vote, you don't get to complain."
Barbara Wilson-Clay, BS, IBCLC, Manchaco, Texas, USA.[more]
